In 2017, research was carried out to understand the information needs of families, childcare providers, and planners. Based on the findings, these partners got together to develop better tools to help parents find childcare and support providers in accessing professional development and other support. The new website, integrated with the MyChildCare.ca.gov search function, was re-launched in 2020. We continue to develop the features and functions of the information system, as part of our ongoing collaborative effort to inprove services for children and families in Monterey County.
